Advert

Due to the retirement of our Business Manager, an exciting vacancy has arisen at Riverhead Infants' School for a Bursar/Business Manager to join our dedicated staff. The person we appoint should have the capacity to deal with a wide range of issues covering finance, staffing, site management, administration, health and safety and the organisation and invoicing of our busy Breakfast and After-School Clubs. You must be happy dealing with parents, staff, contractors, suppliers and, of course, children. You will have high expectations of yourself and of the school to ensure sustainability, professionalism and security of income. You will need to show self-initiative, adaptability and a commitment to working as a member of a team.

We are particularly looking at this time for someone willing to drive through an exciting project to build a new community hall within the school premises.

The position is for 5 days a week, term-time only, although it will be necessary to work an additional 10 days throughout the year.

In return, the school will provide an exciting environment where no two days are the same and the challenges are diverse and rewarding. There will be opportunities for professional development and the chance to work with a dedicated, hard-working and experienced team. The post will attract a salary commensurate with your experience but is likely to be within the range of KR9 (FTE £28,413 - £32,495) or KR10 (FTE £32,496 - £38,414) pro rata.

Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential and school visits before interview are highly recommended. Please contact the school on 01732 452475 and speak to Anne Vitoria for further information and visit our website.
