Are you at the start of your journey or looking for a new adventure? We are looking for a good teacher, NQT or experienced for a position in our reception class from September 2018. This position will be for a year in the first instance. This is a fabulous opportunity to work in a small school with a strong and supportive staff. You will have a large well-resourced classroom and access to a stimulating outside space; there will be 12 eager to learn children and an experienced teaching assistant. Our teachers are given generous class budgets to enrich children's learning and experiences. In addition, there will be ample opportunities to experience Forest School with your class in 10 acres of woodland. The successful candidate will be warmly welcomed by our whole school team, who will support you.

We would like a dedicated teacher who can inspire our children, who are well mannered, enthusiastic and delightful to teach. Behaviour is exemplary across the whole school. 

We are an ambitious and successful, having been graded ‘Good’ in both our last Ofsted and SIAMS inspections. We foster a positive and supportive ethos and want our school to be the best.

Information about the school

Frittenden Church of England Primary School is a popular small school in the heart of the village. Whilst we benefit from an idyllic location in the heart of the countryside, we are easily accessible from Maidstone, Ashford and Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding villages. We currently have 101 children on roll divided into 4 classes, with an intake of 15 into the Reception class and mixed classes thereafter.

As a church school we enjoy a close relationship with St Mary's Church. We promote our Christian values of Compassion, Joy and Respect throughout our school.
