Job Description

Interested in a career in admin or customer service? Inspired to work with young people? Looking for a job that varies on a daily basis? Furley Park Primary Academy are offering an exciting apprenticeship in business and administration for someone enthusiastic, hardworking and keen to learn. Throughout your apprenticeship you will gain experience in assisting with a variety of administration tasks including:

  • Being the first point of contact for all parents and visitors into the office and over the phone
  • Data entry
  • Filing
  • Post – Collecting and distributing
  • Sending of post
  • Photocopying
  • Shredding
  • Data entry in SIMS database
  • Dealing with deliveries

The successful candidate should be friendly and approachable and have the following qualities:

  • Ability to manage themselves and workload
  • Can plan and organise
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Commitment
  • Personal presentation
  • Enthusiasm
  • Sense of humour
  • Professionalism
  • Confidence

GCSE in English and Maths is desirable

The post will be for 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm term time only.
