The Directors of Potential in Everyone Academy Trust are seeking a qualified and experienced Clerk for their Board of Directors to professionally service meetings at all levels of governance. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meeting the administrative and procedural requirements of Trust, enabling efficient, effective discussion and decision making. 

The hours for this role are not fixed due to the nature of the post. The successful candidate will be paid approximately 10 hours per week term time only. You must be flexible in approach to accommodate all 32 scheduled Trust, Local Governing Body and Members meetings. Trust meetings take place in the morning and the Local Governing Body and Members meetings take place in the evenings. Meeting dates will be agreed prior to the start of each academic year. You may be called upon to clerk ad hoc meetings/hearings by prior arrangement for additional pay. Additional pay will also be made for attendance on any training 

Previous experience of clerking academy governing body meetings is essential as you will provide advice on constitutional, legal and procedural matters within the current legislative framework. You should be suitably qualified, or willing to undertake such qualification, with excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills. You must be able to work on your own initiative, be extremely well organised with good time management skills. You will have very strong interpersonal skills and able to maintain strict confidentiality.

 Salary range is KR7 £21510-£24472 pro rata depending on skills and experience for 395 hours per annum.

Potential in Everyone Academy Trust is a Church based Multi Academy Trust which is made up of two small Church of England Primary Schools (Bredgar and Borden), a three form entry Infant School (The Oaks) and a three form entry Junior school (Minterne). We also proudly provide a specialist resource provision for children with speech and language difficulties on the Oaks and Minterne site. The Trust's registered office is Bredgar CE Primary School.
