We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team to work in either KS1 or KS2 to support teaching and learning. This will be a one year contract :12.5 hours per week, Monday - all day and tues/weds am only.  

An understanding of supporting children using interventions and strategies to enable them to increase their performance and access the curriculum confidently.

Information about the school

Stocks Green is a successful one form entry school in the village of Hildenborough. We have a friendly atmosphere and ethos of high expectation for our pupils. There currently have 216 children on roll, the majority of whom live in the village. We enjoy strong community links and are part of Tonbridge Village Collaboration - 6 similar local schools with whom we work closely on a wide range of development activities.

Our facilities include seven classrooms, a large hall, an excellent library, a specialist music room and a care suite with a shower facility. The Foundation Stage classroom has a covered outside learning area and garden. We are proud of our extensive grounds, which have been developed to create outdoor learning areas, including a pond area, an allotment, stage, quiet areas, Forest School, adventure playground and exercise trail. Sport and music are strengths in our school, which we actively encourage with the pupils. We run a range of extra curricular clubs and have before and after school care facilities.
