This role is an exciting opportunity to ensure the health and happiness of our incredible children during their lunchtime breaks. You will be required to help set up and tidy the hall, support and help children aged between 4- 11 years while they eat their lunch, then supervise and facilitate their play outside afterwards.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is resilient and does not mind being outside in all weathers
  • Has some experience of working with children of school age
  • Enjoys working with children of all ages
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to working every day
  • Can work as a team
  • Can communicate clearly with adults and children alike
  • Is patient and calm
  • Can inspire children to be independent

Information about the school

Hollingbourne is a small, delightful, friendly, village school nestled in the North Downs. It boasts 100 lovely children aged 4 to 11 years.

The main building is Victorian with later additions of an Early Years block and a modern school hall. We have access to both a school playground and a large field which the children are encouraged to make the most of.
