Hours: Temporary contract (DfE sports funding) 25 hours, flexible, according to arrangement, 39 weeks per annum.

Pay Scale:   Kent Range – KR5 (£18,059 – £19,863) pro rata

We are looking to recruit a qualified sports coach to work in in partnership with our PE Coordinator and teaching staff to develop provision for sport throughout the school and to support teachers and their teaching of PE.

Do you have the aptitude and enjoy working in a flexible team environment?

You should be experienced in coaching young children in sport and hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in at least one sport. Excellent organisational and administration skills are essential as is the ability to use ICT effectively. You should have the skills to engage individual and groups of children in effective creative learning through sports and be a positive communicator with skills to work effectively with parents, staff and children. Qualification in First Aid is desirable or a willingness to train is essential. A full clean driving licence is preferable.
