We have a vacancy for a cleaner for 10 hours per week to join Borden Primary School.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed cleaner who will become part of a team responsible for cleaning all internal areas of the school to ensure they are kept in a pleasant, hygienic and safe condition.

Applicants should have experience of cleaning to a high standard and be confident in the use of relevant cleaning equipment. Applicants should be reliable and trustworthy with a flexible and willing approach, able to work within set routines and establish positive working relationships.

Hours of work will be 3.30–5.30pm daily during term time plus additional specialised deep cleaning programs during school closures. Leave can only be taken during school holidays.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. An understanding of health and safety in relation to this role would also be beneficial.

The salary for this post will be paid pro rata on Kent Range 2 (FTE £15101) office@borden.kent.sch.uk.
