We are looking to appoint somone who has experience of working with different age children on either a part time or full time basis. We are looking for the best candidate so hours/days can be flexible.

We need someone who has high expectations and a drive to improve outcomes for our learners. The applicant should be a good team player but also be self motivated and able to act upon their own initiative.

The ideal applicant should have a good understanding of child development and of how children learn and be able to enthuse, engage and challenge children in their learning journey.

They must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in order to support learners in a range of environments, even on cold days as we make use of our surroundings - which include our forest school. This role includes supporting children at lunchtime play. The applicant should understand that working in a small school often means going the extra mile without being asked, because it benefits the whole community - especially the pupils.
