An exciting opportunity is available to join our Student Support Team.

The role will mainly be supporting KS3 students by providing pastoral support and helping them to reach their full potential. You will be required to assist the Head of the Key Stage, support the school's aims to raise attendance and achievement through the development of a support structure which underpins Teaching and Learning.

You will communicate with families, Form Tutors, Multi Agency groups to ensure effective communication and a School/Home partnership.

Whilst supporting the school's behaviour policy, dress code, in-school events and peer mentoring system  you will also be on hand to support students with emotional difficulties and unwell students.

Record keeping, monitoring and general administration is also required so a knowledge of IT skills are advantagious.

The role is a varied one which includes covering classes if necessary, assisting with PHSE lessons and deputising for the attendance officer if necessary.
