EVENING CLEANER REQUIRED

 

New Ash Green Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed cleaner who will become part of a team responsible for cleaning all internal areas of the school to ensure they are kept in a pleasant, hygienic and safe condition.

The position is for 10 hours per week working between 6pm – 8pm Monday to Friday, 43 weeks per year. The position would also require the postholder to undertake a deep clean of their areas during February, May, Easter, summer holidays and October.

Salary: Kent Range 2 which falls within the band £14,856 - £15,252 per annum (pro rata).

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The role will require the undertaking of a wide range of cleaning duties throughout the school, ensuring that the high standards are maintained. You would be joining another established team member to further enhance the cleaning services for the school.

Information about the school

The school serves the community of New Ash Green Village and surrounding area. The school has excellent resources and is set within attractive grounds. There are two halls, four playgrounds, a field, an orchard, fourteen rooms, a mobile, a medical room and library areas along with an IT suite of thirty-one computers. We are a highly professional team of colleagues who welcome new team members. The school encourages parental involvement and our PTA offers significant support. Visits to the school are welcomed.
