We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Science Technician to start in April 2018.

 

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is also forward thinking, visionary, receptive to change and able to work under pressure.  In this role you will be supportive in the department, engaging with staff and planning technical support for lessons.  You may have experience working within schools and will be aware of the Health and Safety requirements of the role.

 

The successful candidate will be required to plan and prepare equipment for lessons within all three disciplines of science.   This role is suitable for someone who is enthusiastic and keen to work in the area of science with a secondary school setting.

 

This position is Term Time (39 weeks). The hours are 37 hours a week, although part time / flexible hours could be considered.

 

Salary:  SAA WAT Band 3 pt 7- 11 £13,430-£14,607  (FTE £15,864 - £17,058)*

*Salary is subject to a Pay and Grading Review, currently being undertaken.  Also we Woodard Academies Trust are committed to paying the accredited living wage and the hourly rate is enhanced to £8.25 per hour as necessary.
