We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our growing SEN department.

We are looking for experienced, well-organised and resilient candidates to support pupils. The ideal applicants will have a proven track record of managing a range of challenging behaviours. Candidates should have experience in supporting students with SEN in particular ASD/ADHD, within the secondary education environment.

We have two posts available, one for 30 hours per week and the second for 35 hours per week. Please indicate on you application if you wish to be considered for both posts or which post you are applying for.

The successful candidates will be required to work 39 weeks per year (currently term time plus one week). The posts will be paid at KR3 (pro-rata).

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
