Are you passionate about teaching in the Early Years?

 

The Gateway is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our school in September 2018. You would enjoy an excellent, well resourced teaching environment and be a valued member of our friendly and supportive staff team. This post is suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher seeking future leadership opportunities.

You need to be someone who:

  • Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and Assessment
  • Has a proven track record of good and outstanding teaching and committed to achieving high standards
  • Can confidently plan and deliver a creative curriculum that inspires and engages young children as learners
  • Enjoys creating a vibrant and inspiring learning environment where children learn through meaningful play and exploration
  • Is skilled in developing children’s language and communication skills
  • Can demonstrate positive working relationships with staff, parents and governors ........a great team player!
  • Is committed to their own professional development with aspirations for future leadership

Information about the school

We are a very popular and high attaining one form entry Primary Academy with a big heart and strong sense of community. Within our friendly and welcoming ethos we have very high expectations for all our pupils and celebrate their many skills and talents. We enjoy excellent teaching resources, spacious classrooms, a happy and supportive staff team and delightful well motivated children.

As a stand alone academy we enjoy the benefits this status brings us. However, we are equally committed to our proactive role in working collaboratively with the wider community of schools in Dartford for the benefit of all our staff and pupils.

In our Ofsted Inspection (June 2022) we were pleased that the school continued to be recognised for the excellent quality of education provided for our pupils. During the visit, the inspector praised the leadership of the school, the behaviour of the children and the varied curriculum on offer, which together with the effectiveness of the learning environment and excellent relationships contributes to the high standards achieved by our pupils year on year.
