Are you an outstanding teacher and aspiring leader, looking for a new challenge?

We are looking for an experienced key stage 2 teacher to join our senior leadership team as either maths or curriculum leader, from September 2018.

We are a small (but ambitious!) Church of England Primary School, ready to build on previous recent successes and continue our journey towards being an outstanding school. If you are an experienced key stage 2 practitioner, with a thirst for senior leadership and a desire to succeed, this could be the job for you!

The new leader will champion and drive maths/ the creative curriculum across the school, ensuring high standards of teaching and pupil progress are sustained and built upon.

They will be an outstanding teacher with a strong personal drive, coupled with the desire to use this to support and grow the quality of teaching in others. They must set high expectations for pupil achievement and have a clear understanding of how to secure high standards in learning across the school.

We can offer you:

  • A school full of fantastic children who will add sparkle to every working day!
  • A united and supportive staff team.
  • Effective and tailored professional development opportunites to support you in your leadership journey.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced middle leader looking for a step-up into senior leadership, or an existing senior leader looking to move to a friendly school and a new challenge. In this leadership role, you will be working alongside a strong senior leadership team, who are ambitious in striving to achieve our vision for the school. You will have whole class responsibility (leadership time provided to enable you to carry out your role effectively) which means that you will be able to make use of all opportunities to utilise the school's resources and express your passion for education within the classroom.

If this sounds like it may be the job for you, please come and look around our school to find out more.

Please indicate in your application whether you would like to be considered for the role of curriculum leader, maths leader or either position.

Please see the attached job description to find out more.
