Darenth Community Primary School is an exciting and rapidly improving school; where teaching talent is recognised, nurtured and encouraged to flourish.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding primary teacher; who can inspire, engage and motivate our children to reach their full potential whilst maintaining the positive ethos and core values we uphold, both in and out of the classroom. 

There is the opportunity to make a noticeable impact on standards of student attainment and achievement through your fresh ideas, motivational skills and keen focus on improvement.

You will need to be enthusiastic and committed to offering an outstanding teaching experience for our children, bringing real energy and dynamism to the role, alongside genuine enthusiasm.

We would welcome applications from promising newly qualified teachers, as well as experienced teachers looking for a new challenge.

The initial post would be within a KS2 classroom, but we would like someone who is flexible to be positioned across the school.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced or Newly Qualified.
  • Resilient, passionate, ambitious and ready to inspire a generation of children
  • Innovative and creative, able to bring new ideas and teaching strategies to their class and phase team
  • Able to work independently, taking responsibility for the pupils in their care and as part of a phase team contributing to and having impact on the wider success of the school
