Outreach Assistant required

Maplesden Noakes is an 11-18 co-educational non-selective school with approximately 1165 pupils on roll including 287 in the sixth form.  The school has an excellent reputation, is popular with parents and regularly over-subscribed. 

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Outreach Assistant to support our Careers and Higher Education Officer and Careers Assistant. As this is a role that is new to the school, we are looking for a talented individual with experience of marketing and fundraising. A key part of the role will be creating links with employers in addition to co-ordinating fund raising within the school and project managing the School Council.

Applicants must have evidence of a high standard of literacy and numeracy (i.e. GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above). Applicants will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Hours: 15 hours per week (to cover 2 days) term time only plus 2 staff development days.

Starting salary: £16,968.00 pa – full time equivalent. (Kent Range 4)
