Casual employees are entitled to claim an annual leave allowance based on the statutory leave provisions set out in the Working Time Regulations 1998, as amended.  The annual leave allowance is calculated on the actual amount of hours worked each month.

Casual staff are required to increase our existing pool of Exam Invigilators who uphold the integrity of external and internal examinations and enforce JCQ regulations. Vacancies exist atThe Sittingbourne Community College and Westlands School. Once selected, successful applicants would be contacted at various times throughout the year to ascertain their availability. There is no obligation for work to be offered, or for invigilators to accept an assignment.

Successful candidates may be required to read and scribe for pupils, therefore applicants should have a good level of literacy, with at least a C grade at GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Experience of working in a busy environment would be beneficial.
