Due to internal promotion, we are looking to appoint a flexible, organised and enthusiastic Learning Mentor, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work at our Wrotham site.

Initially this contract is from April 2018 until August 2019, but could be extended.

Kent Range 3 plus a Special Needs Allowance of £1,241 per annum.

The school offers comprehensive training in ASC, exceptional CPD support and development opportunities through our Co-operative Trust of SEN schools.

Currently judged as “Good” by Ofsted, the school is very well placed to becoming Outstanding and is oversubscribed.

Information about the school

Grange Park School is a day special school committed to making a difference for 110 pupils aged between 11 and 19 who have an Autism Spectrum Condition and associated learning difficulties.

Class sizes at the Wrotham site are between 11-13 pupils with a teacher and 2 learning mentors.

At the Partnership colleges learning mentors are supporting individual students or small groups of students aged 16-19 years in the college tutor groups / classrooms and out in the community.
