Are you passionate that a child’s primary education is key to their future learning?

We are looking for an experienced and proactive key stage 2 teacher from September 2018.  The candidate should have high standards of teaching and classroom management and either be a middle leader at their current school or looking to develop middle leadership skills.

Ospringe School has been recently inspected with a really strong outcome.  It was recognised that staff are very well supported and that we “have created a warm, nurturing culture, underpinned by the school’s Christian values, in which pupils and staff alike flourish.”

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.  Please contact the school. Where possible, please send your application form via the 'Kent-Teach' website.

Ospringe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including reference checks with previous employers and an enhanced DBS check.

Information about the school

Ospringe is a Church of England Primary School with a strong and caring ethos. We are oversubscribed and have 210 pupils on roll taught in 7 classes within our spacious school site on the outskirts of Faversham.
Our Ospringe school family’s Christian ethos: nurture- grow- succeed; is underpinned by Jesus’ mustard seed parable- from the smallest seeds grow the greatest shrubs (Mt13v31-32). Valuing our diverse community, together we embody our vision, “With God’s guidance; sowing the seeds of success; nurturing and inspiring pupils and adults to flourish.” Our children are happy, keen to learn and well behaved. We work hard to encourage each child to reach their full potential and are proud of the support and care given by our staff to all pupils. As Ofsted noted when we were inspected in June 2023: "Leaders and staff know the pupils well. Consideration is given to every pupil’s social, emotional and learning needs, and support is provided whenever required. Consequently, pupils benefit consistently from the rich curriculum on offer."
