We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team for 32.5 hours a week to support a child 1:1. This includes 30 minutes lunchtime duty daily. Hours of work are 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time only. Salary is Kent Range 3 £15,253-£16,967 pro rata.

We are a creative, caring school and if you put children at the centre of all education then you are the person for us. You should have a good standard of English and Maths and be able to communicate effectively with children and adults. You will need a flexible attitude and a good sense of humour as the unexpected can often arise in an infant setting! You must be friendly, approachable and willing to join in. Good time management and the ability to work on one's own initiative are essential.

Responsibilities may include: Supporting a child/groups of children in achieving the step to success in English, Maths and across all areas of the curriculum. Feeding back to the class teacher, sometimes keeping records of progress and behaviour. Working with the Year Group to support any social, emotional, behavioural or medical needs. Supporting the class during PPA sessions. Communicating with parents. Preparing resources and some administrative work.
