THE GALAXY TRUST IS RECRUITING A DEPUTY HEADTEACHER FOR INCLUSION

FULL TIME POSITION

SEPTEMBER 2018 (OR EARLIER BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT

THE ROLE WILL FOCUS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPEECH AND LANGUAGE UNIT AT TEMPLE HILL, AS WELL AS DEVELOPING BEHAVIOUR PROVISION AT THE SAME ACADEMY.  THE ROLE WILL ALSO INVOLVE DEVELOPING UNIT PROVISION ACROSS THE GALAXY TRUST.

The Galaxy Trust is seeking a Deputy Headteacher to lead on the development of Unit Provision across all Trust Academies.  Initially, the role will focus on the set-up and embedding of Speech & Language and a separate Behaviour provision at Temple Hill.  The Speech & Language provision will admit children with EHCPs with a primary need for Speech and Language.  The Behaviour provision will be for pupils within The Galaxy Trust only, in order to support pupils with behavioural issues.  The role will include some direct teaching, leadership will focus on developing existing provision, outreach and training.
