School Administrative Officer (KR4)

(37 hours a week pro rata 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday (term time, development days, plus an additional week – 40 weeks)

We are looking to recruit a friendly, professional and efficient School Administrative Officer with excellent customer service and administration skills to support the smooth running of the school and to be the first point of contact for our reception.

You will -

  • Relish working in a busy school environment and be able to work under pressure.
  • Be experienced in office procedures with previous school experience being an advantage.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and use IT systems and programs efficiently.
  • Contribute to and work collaboratively as part of a team but with the ability to work independently.
  • Communicate with children, staff teams, visitors and outside agencies effectively in person, in writing and by telephone; applying good use of standard English.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to multitask!
