Humanities Teacher to lead History

Required from Easter 2018

Salary dependent on experience, we will be able to offer a TLR to an appropriately qualified and experienced practitioner.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher with the ability to lead History at DSTC.

Humanities (Geography, History, RE and Citizenship) is taught across Key Stages 3 and 4 at DSTC. History, Geography and Sociology are taught at Key Stage 5. Candidates must be able to teach Key Stage 3 Humanities as well as History at Key Stages 4 and 5. Candidates who are also able to teach another Humanities subject at Key Stage 4 will be at a distinct advantage.

As a result, pupils behave very well. 100% of staff feel proud to work at DTSC and 85% of parents who responded to Parent View would recommend DSTC to other parents (Ofsted March 2022).

Lessons at DSTC have a calm and purposeful atmosphere with the students showing a genuine interest in learning. Our teachers tell us they enjoy being able to teach and enable the students to learn without disruption.
