We are looking to appoint a qualified teaching assistant to join our team and work in this busy and vibrant school.  This position is available in KS1 from February until August 2018 for 27.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) term time only, and this would include an element of lunchtime supervision duties.

The candidate will need:

  • To be a positive and energetic person who loves working with children
  • Have a friendly and approachable manner
  • Be able to inspire and promote the learning of children 
  • Have good Literacy and mathematical skills
  • Be able to form position relationship with children and adults
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Ideally have at least an NVQ Level 2/Level 3 Early Years Childcare & Education (or equivalent childcare) qualification.

At present this contract is offered on a temporary basis until 31.8.2018.
