  • Fosse Bank is looking for a kind and well organised Teaching Assistant to work three mornings per week, currently Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8.30 to 1.20.

    Job description

    • Being part of a school that prides itself on being pastorally excellent
    • Working as part of a team with other teaching assistants
    • Working with the class teacher and Learning Support Teacher in Year 5 delivering small group support either in, or just outside, the classroom. This is primarily in Standard English or mathematics
    • Sometimes working in Y3 or 6 in a similar manner
    • Listening to children read and asking appropriate questions to challenge the children
    • Supervising the dining room and playground on some days at break or lunchtime (with other staff)

Fosse Bank is a single-form-entry independent primary school for pupils aged 2 to 11. The school is in a beautiful Grade II listed building surrounded by 28 acres of parkland and woodland with a range of wonderful facilities.
