Information about the school

Rodmersham School is an oversubscribed and popular seven small class primary school situated in a picturesque spot on Rodmersham Village Green, two miles south of Sittingbourne. The school serves an area that includes local farms, the village with its mixture of old and new owner occupied properties.

The Victorian school building was built in 1869 and over the years the school buildings have been developed. We have endeavoured to make the environment bright and pleasant for all and have a large school field, which is used for many activities and recently we have added outdoor apparatus to the field; it also houses our Forest School. We have highly supportive parents and teaching team and consider the positive well being of all to be a top priority, including monitoring the workload of teachers to ensure that a healthy home/work life balance is achieved.

At Rodmersham we can offer a host of training and teaching experiences to fully enhance your career; we actively encourage and seek training opportunities.
