After many years of stability, Ramsgate Holy Trinity Ramsgate is going through an exciting period of transition.

We have just appointed our new Executive Headteacher, Tim Hunter-Whitehouse, who will lead both Holy Trinity and St Peter-in-Thanet and we are now looking to complete our new leadership team.

As Head of School you will be responsible for the day to day running of Holy Trinity but be able to work alongside, and be supported by, our very experienced Executive Headteacher.

We are looking for the right person who will recognise and protect the existing strengths of the school, which have made it year in, year out, one of the most academically successful schools in the area, whilst helping us to continue to grow and develop as professionals.

Our aim is to be recognised by all as an exceptional school in which to both teach and to learn in.

You will be able to show –

  • the ability to build a team around you
  • the skills of change management
  • a real depth of knowledge about what constitutes excellent teaching and learning
  • a firm grasp of the new curriculum and how it should be most effectively delivered
  • the commitment to play a central role in forming a new and dynamic leadership team to support and develop our staff, children and parents
  • an understanding of the importance of working collaboratively within and across schools.

As a Leader in a Church school you will be expected to show an understanding of our Christian vision and values, and a commitment to developing our Christian distinctiveness across our school community.

Information about the school

Ramsgate Holy Trinity is a one-form entry Church of England Primary School with 209 children on roll, situated in the picturesque town of Broadstairs, only a 10 minute walk away from the beach. It is led by Erin Price, our Headteacher and Steffi Egan, our Deputy.

Our church school status means we have a strong Christian ethos, which enriches both our collective worship and school values of Faith, Hope and Love.
