Canterbury Road is ‘a friendly, happy place to learn’ and this is true for the staff and the children!

We are looking for a teacher to cover maternity leave from Term 4 to end of Term 6 2018. Ideally we would like full time but will consider four days per week.

We need someone who has passion for teaching and has excellent teaching skills. They need to be dedicated to getting the best from our lovely children and enjoy working at a school focused both on standards and well being. You must have good references including a proven track record of consistently good/outstanding teaching.

This post is unsuitable for an NQT and so experienced teachers are welcomed. If you are ready for a change or looking for somewhere to further develop your teaching then we are the school for you.

Canterbury Road Primary School is a one form entry primary school close to Sittingbourne town centre and within easy reach of the M2, M20 and the train station.

We have interested, curious children who love to learn and enjoy coming to school. Our children make excellent progress from their start points and progress & attainment are above national levels at KS2 as they move into their secondary education. We have highly skilled staff who are committed to the development of the whole child and a have an unwavering focus on all pupils achieving their best.

We are very well resourced and have committed staff dedicated to our children and their families.
