We are a full day care provision open 50 weeks of the year and are looking for a room leader to work in our baby room (0-2 year olds) to cover maternity leave from April 19 for 40 hours a week.

If you are looking for the opportunity to develop your skills as a leader and have the experience working with 0-2 year olds this is the position for you.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a minimum of 3 years experience working with children aged 0-2 years old
  • have a minimum NVQ level 3 quaification or equivalent in Early years Child care & development
  • you will be passionate, caring and enthusiastic
  • have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and a willingness to carry out further training
  • you must have good communication skills and the ability to work with others to ensure teaching and learning opportunities are of the highest standard for all children in the setting
  • lead a small team of staff
  • work 40 hours per week between the hours of 7.30-6
  • be required to undertake a DBS disclosure check

This position will have a higher level of responsibility as the person appointed will be in-charge of the setting for short periods of time in the absence of the Manager or Deputy as a key holder, must be able to work between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm

We are a term time only sessional preschool, out of school club and holiday club housed in Goat Lees Community Hall in Kennington Ashford Kent.
