Deputy ICT Systems Manager

To commence as soon as possible

 

The University of Kent Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed individual to the role of Deputy ICT Systems Manager.

This is a new role which will work as part of the Trust ICT Team across the newly formed University of Kent Academies Trust. The successful candidate will support and assist in the development of UKAT’s ICT vision for the future and assist in leading and managing all ICT systems and connected resources across all UKAT schools.

The successful candidate will have:

  • a good level of education,
  • proven experience of working within a team running IT support coupled with experience with Servers (Windows, Apple, Exchange, SQL), iOs, networked data storage, Mac OSX, iPad support and biometric systems
  • demonstrable experience of Apple and Microsoft hardware
  • a strong customer support ethic
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • an ability to work co-operatively with others and have a collaborative approach to decision making.
