This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Brook Learning Trust as HR Coordinator for this small but expanding Multi Academy Trust. As a Trust, we bring together our unique academies in our belief in the power of education to change lives and communities.

It is our steadfast purpose to challenge and defy the barriers that constrain the education progress of any child.  We set high aims for aspiration and secure collective responsibility for all our children’s achievements.  Our work is underpinned by the values of Integrity, Respect, Courage, Optimism, Excellence and Accountability.

As HR Coordinator you will be integral to the delivery of our vision, contributing to the development and implementation of HR services across the organisation. You will work within a small team, supporting the delivery of day-to-day HR operations including matters relating to employee relations, recruitment solutions and implementing HR policies and practices.  HRIS data input, reporting, production and analysis of HR data is a key responsibility; you will have a great eye for detail and will ensure that data within Brook Learning Trust remains current and relevant.

You will be primarily based at The High Weald Academy, Cranbrook, however you will be required to travel regularly to our other academies. The successful candidate will have experience or a keen interest in operational HR; and will have an understanding of the particular demands imposed in an education setting.

This role is full time, all year round, and the salary for this post is Kent Scheme 6 (£19,608 - £21,509 pa) to Kent Scheme 7 (£21,509 - £24,472 pa), depending on experience.  Ideally the successful candidate will commence employment in January however, a later start date can be negotiated for the right person.

Applications should be completed using the Brook Learning Trust application form and candidates should demonstrate their ability to meet the key responsibilities and requirements set out within the job description and person specification.

Completed applications should be sent to careers@brooklearningtrust.org.uk no later than 9.00am on Tuesday 9 January 2018, and should clearly indicate how your current skills and experience match those contained within the job description

Brook Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff to share this commitment.  All post are subject to vetting checks including an Enhanced DBS check and references.  An overseas police check will be required by candidates who have worked or resided outside of the UK, in the last 5 years.
