Advert

Do you want to be responsible for the newest, brightest and best primary school building in Kent?

Yes? Then make sure you apply for this opportunity! Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School is being rebuilt and due to open in February. We haven't had a caretaker at our present site but will need to appoint one for the new school.

Its all about making sure we're safe and secure, everything working correctly and efficiently as well as keeping the school looking as good in the years to come as it will on day one!

There are lots of special reasons for becoming part of our team - least of all is the quality of the building but because we are a fabulous, caring school where all that we do is done for our children. We want an amazing environment, inside and out and this is something you need to help us achieve.

We are hosting a satellite of Nexus Special School and may have up to 48 of their children within our family as well. They have a fully equipped and well resourced set of rooms within the building and some of these may need additional servicing and maintaining.

We have a fleet of minibuses that are in constant use and we'd love someone to take care of them with regular washing, checking and maintaining. Although not essential, it would be very useful to have category D1 on your licence and some experience of driving minibuses.

We also need someone to take on some cleaning duties to make sure the cleaning team can complete all tasks according to our schedule. The school is growing over the coming years and there is opportunity for the team to increase as well providing possibility of promotion with greater responsibilities.

We need someone who will be hard working, enthusiastic, have a sense of humour, is able to act upon their own initiative and is committed to their contribution to the team that will make Wouldham All Saints outstanding in every way. It shouldn't need stating but just in case - you need to have a love of children, not be afraid of mess and chaos and be pretty handy with a toolbox as well!

As our children are very precious we will only appoint people suitable for working with children and there will be a rigorous appointment process which will include background checks and references with a full crimincal record check.

If you're keen and are confident you can meet the challenge then please get in touch - visits are strongly encouraged and we hope to have the successful person in place for the beginning of February.
