Hours – 22.5 hours per week - Term Time only – plus one week Inset.

Kent Range 6 – Salary range £19608 - £21509

We have a vacancy for a Safeguarding Officer at Wrotham School. We are looking for an emotionally intelligent and resilient individual who wishes to support the positive development of student welfare.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

 

The Safeguarding Officer has the main responsibility for managing child protection issues within Wrotham School and ensuring the policies, procedures, systems, structures, resources and personnel are in place to promote the welfare and protection of children. Actively working jointly with parents/carers and other agencies through joint planning, training and monitoring of their arrangements for the protection of children. Ensure there are quality assurance mechanisms in place to monitor, review and evaluate arrangements for the protection of children.
