A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR FANTASTIC TEAM.

An exciting opportunity to join our successful team has arisen for a part-time teacher, 0.2 FTE.  The succesful applicant would provide leadership release cover in a Year 6 class on Wednesday afternoon and deliver booster sessions on Thursday afternoons. Contracted hours would be from 1.00pm until 4.15pm though there may be room for negotiation for the right candidate.  This is a temporary post in the first instance with the possibility for conversion to a permanent contract pending pupil premium funding.

Peer support and team working are vital aspects of our school, you would be working in partnership with an experienced Year Group Leader, our Assistant Headteacher and Leader of Learning are both based in Year 6.  You would be expected to contribute to the planning of topic lessons for Wednesdays and collaborate with gap analysis and planning for Thursday English and maths boosters.  We are primarily looking for an Outstanding classroom practitioner.

Accountability for pupil progress, at all levels, underpins our successful school and the person appointed will be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our children. We had a very successful Ofsted inspection, March 2014, where all apects of our school were judged as good.

Visits are warmly welcomed; please contact Mrs Sandwell, Bursar, to make an appointment. Only applications via Kent Teach will be considered.  St. Saviour's follows safer recruitment guidance, a member of the interviewing panel has received dafer recruitment training.
