Would you like to teach students who are lively, motivated and interested in your subject? We are looking for an enthusiastic part time/full time teacher of English to cover maternity leave from March 2018 to approximately December 2018. The ability to teach Film Studies and/or Media Studies will be an advantage but is not essential.

English is a very successful, strong and supportive department. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level, including GCSE and A level.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective girls’ school of 1534 students with 446 students in the Sixth Form (80 boys). We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.
