Do you love PE and sport? Could you help us offer our children more opportunities to take part in sporting competitions, tournaments and matches?

We are looking for a PE Teaching Assistant to work for one afternoon (2.5 hours, normally 12.45-3.15) per week, ideally with some flexibility over timing. The work would include:

  • supervision of groups of children taking part in PE events
  • support for our PE subject leader and sports coach
  • TA support during PE lessons
  • leading lunchtime playground games
  • administration tasks connected to organisation of PE events

This is a new role and would be temporary contract for one year, as it is linked to our PE and sport premium funding.

Flexibility over timing would be important as our PE events (eg inter-school tournaments) take place at different times through the week, so we would need our new TA to be available for these events.
