PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE HEADTEACHER AND LEADERSHIP TEAM

Salary £15,043 per annum (pro rata for a full time salary of £17,827)

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

To start as soon as possible.

We are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant to provide a high standard  of administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher and Leadership team with the minimum of supervision.

We are a large primary school with 630 pupils and over 100 staff. The school is friendly and welcoming and the staff work well together in the best interests of our pupils. Applicants should have a secretarial or business NVQ qualification and/or previous secretarial experience at a senior level.  The job requires a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and accurate typing skills.  Shorthand would be an advantage.  The incumbent will need to be proactive and work on their own initiative, be an effective team member and be able to work sensitively and maintain confidentiality.  Some front of house duties will be required.

Candidates should be in sympathy with the ethos of a church school.
