PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE HEAD TEACHER 

Fixed term contract for one year (initially) 

SALARY SCALE KR5 pro-rata actual pay £15,043 - £16,546

(full time equivalent £17,827 - £19,608)

37 hours per week (39 weeks per year – term time only plus 5 INSET days). Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Thursday 9.00am to 4.30pm with ½ hour lunch break each day.

Probationary period of six months.

Required to start immediately or as soon as possible.

 

This is an interesting and challenging role in which you will be responsible for working closely with the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership team of the school.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide P.A. duties to the Head Teacher including day to day administration, audio typing, dictation, diary management, attendance at high level meetings, production of minutes and reports and other ad hoc duties. The position requires a highly presentable, organised, accurate, discreet, approachable and dedicated individual who has the ability to multi task and work under pressure. As a first point of contact, a good telephone manner, pleasing personality with good communication skills and smart appearance are essential.

Candidates must show a mature, patient and diplomatic aptitude with a strong sense of confidentiality and loyalty. The ability to manage time and workload efficiently is essential as is a good working knowledge of MS Office.
