We require a Nursery assistant who has a passion for working with young children and has the ability to support them in their learning for 2-3 sessions per week plus over-time. 

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Observe and assess children’s development according to the EYFS
  • Plan with the Nursery manager for key children
  • Communicate well with parents
  • Keep accurate records and have good IT skills using a tablet
  • Work flexibly as part of a team
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 
  • Have competent English and Maths skills

It is essential to have experience of working in an EY setting.

Pay would therefore be up to £8.30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. There would be a probationary period of 6 months with a pay review at the end of this.

The post will start in December 2017.
