Data and Examinations Officer

Starting Date: ASAP

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks (0.88 FTE).

Salary: c. £20,000 pa full time equivalent, negotiable dependent on experience

Deadline: Applications will be considered on receipt. Suitable candidates will be interviewed on receipt of application and Wye School reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

We are seeking to appoint someone for the role of Data and Examinations Officer.  You will need to be numerate, organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail, and be willing and able to provide valuable support to our existing administrative team of five staff.

The successful candidate will be able to provide a professional and efficient service, ensuring we are fully prepared for our first GCSE cohort to sit their examinations in 2018, while maintaining and monitoring the school’s data and attendance systems.  You will be required to deal with a wide range of administrative tasks and be able to work flexibly to accommodate the busy day-to-day needs of a growing school.

It is not essential to have had prior experience in this kind of post but you must have a mature outlook and understand about the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in taking on such a role.  People are more important than posts to us so if you think you would fit into an upbeat and diverse team and enjoy the fact that no two days are the same, we can offer you excellent career progression.

Wye School is a free school with a comprehensive intake, across the whole ability range.  It opened in September 2013 and we have 5 year groups.  We are three form entry, with a PAN of 90, and are over-subscribed.  We are currently undergoing an exciting building programme.

We wish to appoint this post as soon as possible so will interview on receipt of suitable applications. If you are interested, please send a current CV to caroline.castle@wyeschool.org.uk
