An exciting opportunity has arisen at Whitehill Primary, Gravesend. We wish to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team as soon as possible. We are looking for candidates preferably qualified to NVQ2 to provide support to pupils in the classroom and also run small group interventions.

The post will be for 27.5 hours a week and will include a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Candidates will be judged on both their capability for the post and their suitability for working with children. Good English and Maths skills are essential and candidates will be required to undertake skills tests at interview. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. It is also committed to ensuring that all staff employed at the school have obtained an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service clearance.
