Finberry Primary School are looking for a Parent Support Advisor to support its growing school community.

The candidate will require relevant experience of working with families, including parents, pupils, professionals and agencies. It would be desirable if they have knowledge of inter-agency provision that support schools and families. The candidate should be able to work in a collaborative way to manage the diverse needs of pupils and families.

We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional inter personal skills, communications skills and an understanding of the needs or children and young people. It is essential that an effective record keeping system is maintained and accurate records are kept. Training will be provided to support where required. 

The hours initally required are 20 hours a week but this will increase to 37 hours in September 2018 when an additional school to due to open. The PSA will then work across both schools (max 15 minutes travelling time between schools)

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 08:15 – 16:15.

Location: Ashford, Kent, UK - Finberry Primary School is a growing primary school - A large, purpose-built site in Finberry Village, the school has an on-site nursery for 2,3 and 4 year olds and also hosts a Specialist Resource Provision dedicated for children with a primary need type of Autism.
