We are seeking an inspirational, creative and enthusiastic classroom teacher to deliver and promote the curriculum to a Year 3 class from January to July 2018. Is that you?

You will be flexible, energetic and highly committed, determined to demonstrate that small is beautiful! A thorough knowledge of the national curriculum and ICT is essential.

The position could suit an NQT who has had successful placements or an accomplished teacher with a proven track record in KS2.

Meredale Independent is a well-run independent school with a warm friendly atmosphere that provides a safe, secure environment for children using traditional family values combined with a modern teaching approach.

There are six classes in the school, each one small enough to ensure that every pupil receives individual attention as needed and the ethos of the school is to develop each individual child to their full potential both educationally and pastorally.

We value each individual child and as such the school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks.

Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged through the school office on 01634 231405 or schooloffice@meredaleindependent.com

Our mornings are predominantly devoted to Maths and English studies and afternoons to more practical lessons. We have a wide curriculum including Swimming and French delivered by specialist teachers, which focuses on each individual child. Our classes take no more than 20 children and with approachable and enthusiastic staff we aim to make each child’s time at school memorable, enjoyable and fun, to ensure they thrive and flourish into well rounded and successful children.
