We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join our team in Autumn 2017.

You should have experience of working with children in KS2.  The post will involve supporting and in their learning, both inside and outside of the classroom.  You will be joining a hard working and supportive team of colleagues dedicated to improving the outcomes for the children in our school.  Suitable candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of a Level 3 TA qualification.
  • A good standard of general education with a minimum of Level 2  literacy and numeracy (GCSE grade C or above or equivalent) or willingness to complete.
  • Must have previous experience.
  • Have good organisational and planning skills.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners.
  • Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to pupil achievement and inclusion.

As post is 'Term Time' for 31.25hrs p/wk, actual salary = £10871 - £12982

Riverview Junior School is a very popular four form entry Key Stage 2 school on a large site we share with the Infant School.

Our extensive site offers lots of opportunities for outdoor learning, including an outdoor library, two football pitches, MUGA, outdoor intervention area, animal farm and forest school, and we offer large well-resourced classrooms.
