Event contract to cover maternity leave

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious teacher to join our passionate and committed team.

We are looking for:

  • A reflective practitioner who actively promotes inspirational teaching and learning practices; with excellent knowledge of KS1 pedagogy
  • Proven knowledge of teaching synthetic phonics and reading, resulting in excellent achievement for all groups of children
  • A practitioner who will use action research based enquiry as a tool to improve practice at Blean School and with our partners
  • Innovation, motivation and creativity in subject leadership and the passion to share and drive improvements
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school and the personal development of our children
  • An excellent team player with the ability to motivate and lead
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and a sense of humour!
