A temporary vacancy has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join our school from October 2017 until August 2018 initially, with the possibility of future academic years also.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside a child for mornings (both in and outside the classroom) and to cover first aid across the school in the afternoon.

The ideal candidate should have first aid experience and a recognised teaching assistant qualification is desirable

The post is for 30 hours term time at Grade Kent Range 3 on the Kent Salary Scheme (depending on experience).

Information about the school

We are a large, lively junior school with a friendly, enthusiastic and happy staff. We are a three form entry school and our teachers enjoy the opportunity to work as a year group team, sharing expertise and supporting one another. Roseacre Junior School is a Foundation school with extensive grounds situated in the village of Bearsted. We have a computing suite with 35 computers. Ipads are also available for classroom use. We have a lovely new outdoor classroom to enhance children's learning experiences.
