We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to join us here at Stowting, initially in a temporary capacity.

The position involves working in partnership with class teachers with an aim to achieve the best outcomes for our children, supporting individuals and/or groups of pupils.

The successful applicant will have a good standard of spoken English and will have achieved English and Maths GCSE qualifications to at least a 'C' grade or equivalent. An NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but most importantly we are looking for the ‘right’ person to join our very happy team.

This position is for 23 hours per week and will involve the support of children in Key Stage 2 although all our staff are very expected to be flexible in their working practise.

Pay is on the Kent Range and will be awarded in line with experience, pro-rata term-time only.

Please feel free to contact the school to visit and talk more about the post.
