We are seeking a Site Manager to be responsible for the management and operation of premises related functions at the school (including 2 associated small local sites). The successful candidate will demonstrate skills to ensure a safe and healthy environment is maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.  The Site Manager will line manage 2 Assistant Caretakers and 2 in-house cleaners; in addition to liaising with contract cleaners as and when required.

 

We are looking for an individual who has:-

  • Leadership skills – the ability to lead and organise others and their own workload.
  • A desire and the ability to be pro-active in maintaining the smooth and efficient running of the school premises and displaying a high quality appearance both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge and expertise in general maintenance and repairs to buildings and grounds, plant and equipment.
  • The ability to lead and procure quotations with contractors for day to day repair and replacement.
  • A driving licence (with D1 category to drive minibuses).
  • A happy disposition, good communication skills and a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Some knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, and Legionella is essential – further training can be given to the right candidate.

This position is offered on a full time (52 weeks) permanent basis working 37 hours per week on a split shift basis as follows:-

Monday to Thursday -  7am to 11.30am and 3pm to 6pm

Friday - 7am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm
