Maternity Cover

We are looking to recruit an excellent teacher with experience in KS1 to join us from January 2018. The vacancy is to cover a maternity leave and will be in our Year 2 Class.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • An enthusiastic, classroom practitioner
  • Dedicated to excellence, with high expectations of all children
  • Highly effective when planning, delivering and evaluating lessons
  • Skilled in teaching all aspects of the Ks1 curriculum
  • Able to develop positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parent/carers

Boughton Monchelsea Primary is a one form entry school set in spacious, attractive grounds on the outskirts of Maidstone.

Our school prides itself on its caring, supportive approach, which encourages children to achieve excellence in all that they do. Our values of excellence, determination, respect and responsibility are at the heart of everything that we do.

There is a well-established team ethos at Boughton Monchelsea, and staff wellbeing is important to us. Staff development is a key priority, and we provide a range of CPD opportunities for all.

Parts of our school building date from 1850, but the site has been updated over the years to incorporate a purpose-built Infant Block, indoor swimming pool, library and hall. We have extensive outdoor learning areas, including our own wood where we hold Forest School sessions in the summer.
